1. The Impact of the Sintering Furnace

The sintering furnace plays a crucial role in the sintering process. Zirconium blocks are subjected to high temperatures inside the furnace, so the quality of the furnace and its settings are incredibly important. However, regardless of what equipment is used, it is essential to strictly follow the sintering curve provided by the manufacturer. Never create your own curve or adjust the settings without proper guidance. An incorrect sintering curve will directly affect the color and quality of the final teeth.

2. Regular Cleaning of the Sintering Furnace

Regular cleaning of the sintering furnace is essential. We recommend performing an empty firing every so often using waste zirconium blocks, allowing any impurities inside the furnace to adhere to these blocks, thus cleaning the furnace. This process not only ensures better temperature conduction within the furnace but also prevents impurities from sticking to the teeth during the next sintering cycle, which could otherwise lead to discoloration or blackening of the product.

3. The Effect of Voltage

Voltage stability is also critical. If the voltage fluctuates during the sintering process, causing temperature spikes and drops, the quality of the final product will inevitably suffer. To ensure that the furnace is maintaining the correct temperature, we recommend regularly calibrating the furnace using calibration rings. Only with stable temperatures can the teeth be produced according to the standard sintering curve, ensuring the best possible outcome.

4. The Influence of Zirconium Products

Finally, the quality of the zirconium itself will impact the sintering results. Some manufacturers add glue to zirconium during production, which results in "glued zirconium." However, during the sintering process, this glue will vaporize, negatively affecting the color of the teeth. We, on the other hand, use glue-free zirconium to eliminate these issues, ensuring that the product remains pure and that the final color is consistent and accurate.
